I had used the New American Standard for over 20 years because in my research I discovered it to be the most accurate word-for-word translation, as opposed to a thought-for-thought or paraphrase. I came across the Legacy Standard Bible recently and learned it is related to the NAS: lsbible.org. As I’ve compared the versions, one main difference I see is that “Yahweh” is used for God’s name in the LSB. This is all explained on the website.
