When you are wanting to affirm something within yourself then using the framing “I am . . . “ works well. For example the affirmation that came to me this morning during my meditation was “I am enriching myself and others”.
I think that we need to be wary of claiming some things as labels of our identity though. I have always loved learning about personality, cognitive and neuro styles and types. Human behaviour and psychology fascinates me and the main thing I have learned is that every human being is different and complex, and cannot be defined neatly by labels.
However, these descriptive categories of human behaviour are helpful to us knowing ourselves better - not in terms of “I am this” but in terms of I have this mix of characteristics and “these are the ways I understand myself”.
Neither we nor life is static. Life constantly evolves and so do we. We are not a label; we are a dynamic collective experience.
