Every time I see this, I have to laugh.

“We built AI that will replace recruiters.”’

Companies promise customers that their AI will replace recruiters.

Then you open their Careers page.

“We are hiring recruiters.”

So… who is lying to whom here.

If your AI truly replaces recruiters, who is sourcing, interviewing, and hiring the people building the AI.

Maybe the AI is not ready yet.

Maybe it only replaces recruiters everywhere else.

Or maybe marketing got a little too excited.

Do not get me wrong. AI is powerful.

It automates tasks. It speeds things up and it helps recruiters a lot.

But if replacement was real, the job posting would read:

“Our AI hired our entire team.”

Until then, this logic will stay one of my favorite tech paradoxes. 🙂
