The app for independent voices

Would you pay someone thousands of dollars to press “Apply” for you?

That is basically what reverse recruiting sells, and they promise they will find you a job.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I do not think reverse recruiting should exist.

I understand the appeal.

Job search is stressful.

Rejections pile up.

Silence gets heavy.

So when someone says, “Relax, we will handle everything for you,” it feels like relief.

But what usually happens?

AI auto applies in your name.

Someone else (who is not the person you hired) sends networking messages from your LinkedIn.

Bulk applications go out with little real targeting.

Nothing secret.

Nothing exclusive.

Just automation with a luxury price tag.

I have seen people spend thousands on this.

None of them landed a job through it.

I believe in support.

Coaching, strategy, feedback, yes.

But your career is personal.

Your name is on every message.

Your reputation is attached to every click.

Before you spend thousands, ask yourself: Are you buying a strategy, or just expensive automation?
