One of the great joys of being a father is being reminded of the beauty of the world by your kids.

My son’s new favorite activity is walking to the library and then heading straight to the creek. He wants to visit the turtles. He’’ll stand there for an hour talking to them. At night, when I’m putting me to bed, he tells me about visiting the turtles. It’s pure joy.
