One of my main concerns with YA fiction is how poorly love and relationships are depicted. Authors romanticize red flags and glamorize drama.

This is not good.

Reading stories allows you to build an internal map that will help you navigate the world. But the stories young people are putting into their repertoire nowadays are confusing them and leading them astray in their minds and in their real-life decisions.
