Discovered in 1817 near Carlisle, the Kingmoor ring features a long runic inscription.

The inscription is unintelligible but appears to relate to inscriptions on other runic rings from Bramham Moor, West Yorkshire and from Linstock Castle, Cumbria. Therefore, they may be iterations of a known runic formula.
