The BrandonPin was found in Brandon, Suffolk, and dates to the late 8th or early 9th century. It is a gilded metal pin, possibly a dress pin or hair accessory. It features a runic inscription on one side of the flat pin head. The inscription is a partial list of the runic alphabet, reading:
fuþorcjwhnij|ïpxs
There are possibly more runes after this, but it is hard to confirm what they are.
