The app for independent voices

My name is Jason, and I'm a junior in college. I am passionate about semiconductors and markets. Today, my Substack reached 3000 subscribers.

I started writing in December. Over the past 3 months, I have grown an audience of thousands, ranked top 10 in Rising in Finance, and became a Substack bestseller thanks to the incredible community of passionate analysts and investors on this platform.

After I graduate, my dream is to write on Substack full time.

Why?

The first half of it is that writing helps me make an impact. In a large company, my influence is limited to my firm at most. Here, every article I write instantly reaches and helps thousands. I don’t have to wait decades before my work matters.

The second half of it is personal. 1) I want to work for myself on my own schedule. 2) There is nothing I find more fun than looking at chip companies and writing funny articles. And finally, 3) I think entering junior analyst roles is risky because AI can do much of our jobs already.

So if you're interested, please check out my work, subscribe, and share. I am still a ways away but every new subscriber helps. If you like my work, this helps me increase my posting frequency and depth of analysis significantly after I graduate.

Thank you.
