London Fields by Martin Amis was blocked from the Booker Prize short list in 1989, was adapted into a movie that has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes but went on to become one of the writer’s best selling novels. It is dark, disturbing, funny and maybe offensive; but is it any good? Check out my review.
