Make money doing the work you believe in

Claude Opus 4.7 is a completely different model... and most people are using it wrong.

It no longer reads your mind like 4.6.

4.7 might be the best model... but you have to work for it.

Here's how you have to do it:

1. Be direct and literal

Forget metaphors, insinuations, or "reading between the lines."

Tell it exactly what you want with clear, unambiguous language.

2. Use positive framing

Instead of "Never do Y," say "Always do X."

The model focuses much more on what you forbid it to do and can become obsessed.

3. The System Prompt is now critical

Small changes here have a huge impact on the model's behavior.

Be very careful about what you change there.

4. Rewrite all your old prompts

Your skills, agents, and files claude.md probably have contradictions that previous versions ignored.

4.7 gets stuck on them.

4.7 is a high-performance model.

Some are adapting their way of using it and say it's worth it.

Others have simply gone back to 4.6 or directly to 4.5.

Are you already using 4.7 or have you stayed with the previous version?
