Despite the shit show of the first Trump administration, the minority of America voted to elect Trump, a convicted felon, to office a second time. The majority of voters (50.2%) voted for someone other than Trump. He won by the slightest of margins (5th smallest) of any president since 1900 against a more qualified Kamala Harris.
Today, the common American people are being shafted. Eggs are not affordable, if you can even find them in grocery stores. Inflation is at a record high. Stock market has taken a huge loss and we are likely going into a recession. All caused by the manufactured lies of Trump and his utter incompetence for being a US president, let alone a good human being.
Time and again the booming economies left by democratic presidents like Barack Obama and Joe Biden have been trampled over by their Republican successors.
Trump is and has always been going after people that speak out against him. Today he is going after more (read articles below.) Today’s Heather and Reich are must reads.
He is going after lawful law abiding community serving immigrants like Celal and Emine Emanet who run the Jersey Kebab restaurant. We drove an hour to give them our business and support them a couple of times. (Photo with the owner below.) I wish them good luck.
He is going after students and others who protest peacefully even though they have a right to free speech.
Trump is destroying America and undermining the democratic ideals both here at home and internationally.
We must speak out and we must hold our representatives in congress accountable by reaching out to them.
