Stay human.
Because once reproduction is no longer tied to the male–female body pair, it does not simply become more inclusive, it becomes more interchangeable. And once it becomes interchangeable, it becomes: Scalable Customizable Commercializable This is where identity and market logic begin to overlap. LGBT family formation does not create reproductive technology. But it accelerates demand for systems that detach reproduction from sexed bodies. The added “T” in the LGB normalizes and desensitizes the public to the commoditization of reproductive body parts, especially for the next generation who will be more ensconced in reproductive technologies than we are now. Women on college campuses are already being conditioned and encouraged to sell their eggs to pay for tuition.
