STUDIES IN STUPIDITY Vol. 3

Perhaps the Washington Post should change it’s motto to: Democracy Dies With Censorship.

This isn’t just ham-handed. After the disgrace of pulling the Kamala Harris endorsement, how could the Post’s editorial page editor be so tone deaf as to kill this cartoon?

The editor, David Shipley, offered this lame excuse:

“My decision was guided by the fact that we had just published a column on the same topic as the cartoon and had already scheduled another column — this one a satire — for publication. The only bias was against repetition.”

Read the room, dude!

There was no way this would ever be interpreted as anything but the Post once again kissing Trump’s ring. Did you warn Jeff Bezos? Did he know you were about to drag his name even further through the mud by making this a cause célèbre?

Congrats. You’ve now officially entered the annals of the Studies in Stupidity.
