Thank you JD for reporting on this! I wonder, if people come from Colombia or Venezuela, how do they "continue north" to the US? Not to make light of their situation, but seems they took a wrong turn.
yeah, thank you, that was poor phrasing. I'll adjust. in short, I was told at the center that people often come from those countries to ecuador as a point of first departure, before eventually, sometimes after a few months, departing toward the united states.
