UPDATE ON STABLECOINS: Watch for the details as the bill moves through. (were they being sarcastic when they named stable GENIUS bill; can’t wait to see the history books on this BS). Anyway, one version would let stablecoins be backed by commodities, dramatically increasing risk. The version likely to be passed denies the central government the right to issue stable coins. Other versions ask for government oversight, but most likely the libertarians will win. Trump sons are issuing a coin.
