Hollywood does what it does to troll potential audiences and gin up buzz and attention about their latest super-duper-blockbuster-franchise-remake. The internet outrage machine plays right into their hands. Engagement is what they want, good or bad. Attention drives ticket sales drives streaming views drives profits. What Hollywood really fears is that we all ignore their latest feat of creative bankruptcy. If we don't talk about it, if we don't post about it, if we don't go see it; that's their worst nightmare.
