I am building a website for my farm and business, Richmond Regenerative Agriculture, at richmondregenag.com It’s not published yet. It will feature occasional essays by me, as well as listing our events and courses.
I have taken on two young women as employees, one full time who is at least as knowledgeable as me although less than half my age. She knows more than me about equines and training. With her here the odds are I won’t hurt myself any more, which has been something of a drawback over the years. The younger works here half time, is a part time farrier, more of a rookie but an ass busting worker who pays attention.
So - I’ve given public social media publishing twelve years of trying my best. Had a lot of followers on Twitter, people said nice things sometimes, but nothing changed. Haven’t made nearly as good a penetration here, but I’ve don’t charge, and the algo doesn’t approve. But more than that.
Doing the work is far more important than trying to persuade people who don’t want to hear it. I’m old and tired, and have to use the time and energy I have left wisely.
