It’s hard to admit when you are wrong. Not so hard when you are wrong about the solution to a math problem, or about the answer to some factual piece of information, but hard when the issue is something which involves your moral judgement. A question where being wrong exposes a deep flaw in your character and basic humanity. A situation where admitting to error will lead to immediate ostracism from your treasured group of “useful idiots”. And when you adhere to ideas of Critical Theory which admit no challenge of facts or logical argument to the dogma of oppressors and victims, the concept of being wrong never exists to trouble your small brain.
