Hi, I am Jeff, and this is my Substack story.

In 2015 I began writing the Burning Archive as a blog. Few read it.

In 2021 I tried speaking the Burning Archive as a podcast. Few listened.

In 2022 I gave up my career as a bureaucrat and started to write on Substack.

My first post got five views.

In 2023 I experimented with Substack and learned how to YouTube.

In 2024 I learned how to Substack with Sarah Fay, PhD. My readers loved me back.

From 0 I have grown to over 1,400. Thank you everyone.

So, in 2025 what is coming up?

My world tour of world powers that will change how you see world history and geopolitics.

My slow reads of modern and ancient masterworks (but not the same old, same old) - Olga Tokarczuk, The Books of Jacob and the Mahabharata.
