as Tyler Burn and i recently discussed on his podcast, i think one of my definitions of “success” is this: am i someone my younger self would be proud of?

I imagined explaining my life and my art and my journey to a younger version of me, one who wanted all of this but could scarcely imagine dreaming of it. I used to be an unemployed, college dropout, gender dysphoric nightmare who wrote tumblr poems and smoked cigarettes in my grandparents garage until something happened.
