The app for independent voices

We have an arrangement where my husband cooks on Sundays. Jacques Pepin has been his long-time recipe source, but now Dave has discovered Alison Roman’s new book Something from Nothing (the beauty of having a wife with piles and piles of cookbooks). Yesterday he made the Crispy Baked Beans with Mushrooms and Parmesan and it was truly, truly delicious. (Possibly thanks to the 1 ½ cups of grated Parm in the recipe, but who am I to quibble with greatness?)
