I spent an hour this morning at NYC’s brand new culinary bookstore Wild Sorrel, in the East Village. Cookbookery subscribers will get my interview with the owner Troy Chatterton in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, here’s a peek.
The store, which sells both new and used books, opened on Friday, April 17. There are still some blank spots on shelves as inventory settles in. Top sellers so far: East Village Cookbook and Cakes From Lucie (whose shop is just a few blocks away).
