The app for independent voices

This week’s writing circle wandered through Dutch dikes, Thai shoes, and the grass that’s greener where you water it.

Pablo Musumeci shared a paragraph of his piece on Dutch planning vs. chaos, and I read from my 12-hour walk essay about finding clarity in motion. We reflected on how culture shapes feedback, and how freedom can sometimes feel like fatigue.

No big breakthroughs. Just slow, small realizations that keep us growing. 🌱

Lots of flow in the writing circle this morning with Jolleen Opula and Pablo Musumeci ✍️

We reflected on:

(1) how walking and moving our bodies can often unlock more creativity than staring at the screen

(2) the tension between writing with structure vs. following intuition, whether that’s cooking without a recipe or drafting without a plan.
