The Senate passed a sweeping new bipartisan housing affordability this bill this week—89 to 10. Despite the overwhelming support it had there, though, it’ll likely fail in the House. Why? Because hardliner Republicans oppose it, and  Trump is too focussed on his voter suppression bill to put any attention on it. He also says that “nobody gives a sh*t about housing.”

There literally couldn’t be a more out of touch leader. “Let them eat cake” on steroids.
