Friday evening arrives, and I exhale as I change gears between work and home. I close and blink my eyes, and it's Monday morning, and I think of all the things I failed to get done over the weekend.
I suspect we all do this whether at home or work. We keep looking for more hours when the problem might be with what we are filling them with.
A better question might be: What am I doing that doesn't really matter?
Perhaps we should carry this as a question, not as something to answer quickly, but as something to return to.
Let it interrupt your sentences, punctuate your meetings and conversations, and see what survives the scrutiny.
