Here’s a major investment theme I'm watching closely and preparing for:
The U.S. dollar is currently highly overvalued relative to other major world currencies and has been trading within a rising channel for the past two decades.
But there is a good chance that the dollar is about to break down from its channel and enter a secular bear market, launching the next decade-long commodities supercycle in an echo of the early 2000s.
This scenario would be extremely bullish for a wide range of commodities, including precious metals, base metals, energy, softs, agriculture, as well as farmland and mining/natural resource stocks.
