just because women/girls have been socially/economically/politically incentivized to adopt a particular trait or behavior does not make critique of that trait or behavior misogynistic. the opposite is true. i’m losing my mind. how are so many people (esp progressives) still conflating the humanity of women/girls with the construct of “femininity”? to discourage the interrogation of so-called femininity on the basis of misogyny is in itself misogynistic!!
