I wrote this post yesterday, and (happily) observe that it’s the sort of post that gets traction. If I was prepared to write the whole truth and nothing but the truth I know it would get even more. But sometimes the bravest thing is not to post until you’re ready, and actually say that. Sometimes you can tell people that you’re in the heart of a storm and you’ve written about it but you’re going to wait to post until the full force of it has lessened - when the air is still damp but the brightness is returning. It’s still helpful for people to know the weather. And I want to thank everyone who messaged me with their love and solidarity. You make me want to be even braver and throw away my umbrella #livebigandbrave
