Macabre Monday has me thinking about bugs this morning. How many insects in one place goes from a peaceful nature scene or mild annoyance to an unholy nightmare? 1? 10? 100? Insects are so good in horror! I might have to write a whole piece on it.
Please give some examples from film, photography or a creepy-crawly piece of prose. Lord of the Flies pops into my head but of course this clip from The Amityville Horror has always stuck in my mind.
