It’s Macabre Monday, and I’m for sure recovering from Wondercon and Easter. I had a ton of great monster conversations this weekend. Our MARY SHELLEY PRESENTS panel got into Frankenstein but also dove deep into the monsters within us all. The best new thing I discovered at Wondercon was Diwati Komiks. I picked up a copy of their Carnel comic which focuses on mythological creatures from indigenous Philippine folk religion. The monsters are not for the weak of spirit. They are definitely worth checking out. Please share your favorite Filipino monsters in the comments (if you have one)! I’m also going to chat with tonight on his show. Also, definite subscribe.
