If the people who actually know things — the researchers, the domain experts, the thinkers who spent decades building real understanding — refuse to use AI because it feels like cheating, or because they believe in the purity of unassisted prose, then the information ecosystem doesn’t just get noisier. It gets wrong. Structurally, systematically, confidently wrong. And the wrongness will be wrapped in better prose than most of those experts could produce on their own.
