gifting without ABIDING becomes ruinous.

Samson shows us that visible strength can hide inward weakness. Power without covenant faithfulness will eventually collapse (Judges 15-16).

It leads to:

burnout

self-exaltation

loneliness

emptiness

loss

But with Jesus, abiding in Him changes everything. John 15 shows us that life connected to Him produces what talent never can.

With Jesus there is:

fulfillment

glory to Him

His presence

abundance

hope

Jesus does not merely numb hard emotions. He meets us in them, steadies us through them, and fills what our gifts can never satisfy.

Where are you leaning on your abilities more than abiding in Christ?
