Samaipata once again bets on Irish restaurant management software Nory in a $37M round

  • A new bet from the Spanish fund, led by José del Barrio, in a new expansion of the Dublin-based company that develops software to automate restaurant management with AI.

  • The expansion is led by the Nordic manager Kinnevik – one of the relevant shareholders of the Spanish unicorn Travelperk and also of Job&Talent – and with the participation of the American Accel and others.

  • The startup develops a platform to control business intelligence, inventory, or personnel. Clients include Jamie Oliver Group and Black Sheep Coffee.

  • Spanish José Gaytan de Ayala, investment manager at Kinnevik, assures that the company is tackling a sector that “faces increasing costs and growing complexity.”

  • The investment will allow for the deployment of autonomous AI assistants and the expansion of the technical team, in addition to expansion into the American market. There, in 2021, Toast went public. Today it is valued at over $23.5B. ARR was close to $2B at the end of June.
