The only undefeated team left in the NPB. It’s early…but I wasn’t sure we’d win 5 games the entirety of April let alone having 5 wins on the board by the 2nd of April.

Today was a 9th inning comeback and the winning hit was a little fortuitous by Ryui Itoh, with his groundball coming off the diving third baseman’s glove to divert it away from SS and score the winning run.

Even without that, the Swallows were tying it in the 9th on that grounder. Thanks to some excellent plate discipline. Momentum is definitely on our side at the moment and you can see what with the attitude of the players in the dugout in the 9th.
