Took my oldest daughter to see ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’ at the cinema yesterday and have to say it was incredible enjoyable. My 5-year-old sat perfectly still mesmerized for 90 minutes as we were all reminded that sometimes it’s good to put the screens down and head off exploring. I read ‘The Faraway Tree’ series by Enid Blyton when I was a kid, so it’s nice to dip into some nostalgia of my childhood where my dream day was spent outside from lights up to lights down.
