When your Zoom meeting with a writer starts with her saying, “So, first of all, there were a lot of corrections in there of things that weren’t in my original document,” you know it’s going to be a long 15 minutes.
(FWIW, whenever I insert a missing comma, I always delete the last letter of the word preceding the comma, and then retype it and add the comma. Otherwise, the comma is so tiny it often gets overlooked when writers are reading through my edits. This writer thought the actual words had been edited.)
