In the early 1970s I went with a friend to visit her uncle for the weekend. She went regularly. It was only as an adult that I realized that she was being sexually assaulted by him and that I had been invited to give her a weekend of peace. At about the same time I knew another woman who was likely the victim of family rape. Another incident happened in the mid-60s. These are three times that I felt uncomfortable. These were all before I was in high school.
