If he wins, Democrats will have a reasonable path to capturing the Senate majority this fall. Areas with high Latino populations appear to be siding with Talarico over Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett who mounted a spirited campaign. But Talarico seems to have run up big vote totals in Austin - a progressive bastion filled with young voters.
