I've been reading my 2 month old daughter On Beauty by Roger Scruton.

I go a few passages, then extrapolate and describe the concepts.

She doesn’t get any of it of course, but her smiles and the joy I have reading it are worth it.

Also, On Beauty by Roger Scruton is superb philosophy. Not surprising since it is Scruton.
