Graham, don't you think that personalities are a huge part of the problem. Xi, Putin, Trump, Starmer, Netanyahu. Their egos are too big for their boots. They go to war on a whim, ignoring any sort of regulatory advice. It's all too dangerous. Iran has learned this lesson as well. Nobody knows exactly who is the power. Concensus choices may be what's happening, but nobody knows. They are cleverly unpredictable. No particular personality has a target on his back. The rest of those 'leaders' are has beens. So predictable. So blatantly stupid. I think Iranians are among the smartest people in the world. The greatest blunder the west has made is forcing them into the arms of China and Russia. If the west hadn't put Isreal into the Middle East, none of this would have happened, and Iran would have made its way into a shining bulwark of democracy, right in the centre of civilization. No, we couldn't have that. Islam has been voted the world's no.1 enemy, for no other reason than they are smarter than everyone else. Their civilization has a life span far, far greater than any of their self declared enemies. Does that have any resonance for you?
