sometimes i wonder how many versions of myself i’ve outgrown without even noticing. i look back at old photos and remember the thoughts i used to carry, the dreams i thought would save me. it’s strange how you can live inside yourself every day and still not realize you’re evolving. it’s only when you look back that you realize how far you’ve come, how many lives you’ve already lived in the same skin.

We are seeing not just the result of Republican bad faith, but of the mainstream Democratic Party’s willingness to trust the liars and traitors on the right. Assuming everyone is as fair minded as you stops being praiseworthy when you are repeatedly cheated.
This comes very close to dismissing Republican abuses to focus on blaming the Democrats.
The right continues to be strategic enough to unite as reliable Republican voters and take command of the party.
The left is still working to dismiss or divide the Democratic party - in a myriad of ways which all serve to elect Republicans.
I don't get it. Did their strategy just happen or did Newt Gingrich engineer it? If we keep applying the same defensive messaging, explanatory rhetoric and fear of taking the fight to the enemy's camp, what do we expect to achieve?
