I do not agree with the idea that lower FED rates will increase inflation. What will increase inflation will be the FED creating more dollars out of thin air.
Lower rates increase the borrowing power of money and improve investments in money making enterprises. This is not inflationary, it merely grows the economy. If anything, it may be deflationary.
Replacing the FED with a sound, asset backed dollar would be really the best inflation control in conjunction with stopping Congress from deficit spending. I think that is where America is going under Trump.
