Favorite Color: A deep forest green, phthalo green, or a dark purple

Favorite Animal: Some sort of corvid—maybe ravens

Favorite Movie: I can never pick, but if it’s a gun-to-your-head-only-movie-to-ever-watch-again question…The Princess Bride?

Favorite Series: Futurama has a lot of nostalgic appeal ruined by its many comebacks. Arcane and Andor are both fantastic, but I haven’t rewatched either.

Favorite Filmmaker: Guillermo del Toro

Favorite Actor: Ryan Gosling? Gary Oldman?

Favorite Actress: Anya Taylor-Joy? (fun fact, because of my wife I got to go to an advanced screening of her early movie Thoroughbreds—fantastic black comedy—and had a chance to hang out at a bar post screening with her back when she was a small timer, and I decided it wouldn’t be worth it. Dumb.)

Favorite Band: mewithoutyou

Favorite Food/Dessert: These seem like they should be two separate questions. No favorite dish, but soup is my favorite category of food.

Favorite Drink: I used to make this thing in high school called “Tropical Water,” which was a glass of water garnished with a scallion and a slice of lemon.

Favorite Clothes: Comfy vintage sweater and cords.

Favorite Novel: If we’re talking single novel, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrel; if we’re talking series, The Locked Tomb.
