Self-reporting: It's a small thing, but done a dozen times, a hundred times, adds up to something. I was talking to a friend who actively participated as an anti-trumper during Trump 1, but now was describing to me her feeling of helplessness as the situation gets more out of control each week. I described to her how there are now signs that the tide is turning, but more importantly how she can personally participate in that change. Then I described Hopium and Simon R, where there's very current updates, interviews with insightful people, ranging from historians to political operatives, as well as democratic candidates with good potential. And most important, always a conclusion of actions to take. And the dialogue amongst members in the comments is also helpful, healthy, and vibrant. She left our conversation less discouraged, and I think, sure to check out Hopium. I look for these opportunities.
