I think it would be interesting if that indeed was the case but then that begs the question of why the superintendent hasn’t said anything. Would say a lot about their character (or lack thereof) if they knew this was the case but chose to let this woman get burned at the stake. Which as someone who has worked in this system for a long time I would NOT be surprised by.
