Make money doing the work you believe in

What happened to modern philosophy? Academic philosophy today is useless, for it cannot communicate its thoughts to a wider audience.

Ordinary people cannot make any sense of books such as by Sartre (Being and Nothingness) or Badiou (Being and Event). A lot of these metaphysical works read like legal code. Focused on logic and pure rules. They make no sense to anyone outside of obscure university chambers.

Indeed, philosophers of the 20th century wanted to impress other academics, and by doing so, they made themselves inaccessible, even to intelligent people.
