This wine caused my greatest ever embarrassment. I had a boozy day with Rodolphe in London who told me - in confidence - he was making a new wine with Brad Pitt. That evening I hosted a wine event with a major US law firm, and - still squiffy - I gossiped about this to the senior partner. He smiled and said “reaaaaaalllly…?” in a drawl and gave me a funny look. Suddenly the penny dropped.
