You know when Israel launched those unprovoked and illegal attacks on Iran, starting the ‘12 day’ war? Under international law, Iran had the right to respond. But what the British did is that they got the planes to take off from Akrotiri, and essentially protected Israel from the consequences of its own actions. This is often what ‘defending Israel’ actually amounts to. Shame!
