Why do teachers do revision?

Is it because it wasn't taught well the first time? Is it because there is just so much to memorise? Is it because you just want to make sure the pupils are ready for the exam at the end?

Or is it because it makes you feel better?

You've given them everything. You've provided them with as much information as possible. You've done your bit, its time for them to show it in their exam.

Revision should not be about teachers doing more in the classroom. It should be about creating pupils who are motivated enough to want to do it themselves.
